Introducing WSNA Nurse Representative Sara Strite, BSN, RN #

Hi Everybody!

I have been an RN since 2013. My clinical nursing focused on gerontology and end-of-life care in both at-home and inpatient settings. Wanting to advocate for all nurses led me to joining WSNA. It is my passion to ensure that nurses have safe working environments with protections against unfair labor practices.

Please contact me about your work issues are and your ideas of how things could be better. Although WSNA representation may be a recent addition to working at Fresenius, there are decades of union experiences and victories to draw from in order to make your lives better.

Union Actions

Short-term goal: I’m working on getting updated contact information for all of you.

Long-term goal: I’m looking for unit representatives for each site. These are the go-to” WSNA nurses and individualized training will be provided. The more unit reps we have, the stronger our union. If you want to be a unit rep or want more information, contact WSNA officers Ruby Tan, Suzette Marengo, or Dayang Nadayag.

Check Your Paycheck Statements

Per your union contract, a 2.5% pay raise should have happened effective 6/28/20. Please check your pay stubs to ensure that this was properly processed.
